Adobe and Snow Leopard
With the recent announcement of Snow Leopard there are many questions about using Adobe applications. In brief, CS4 was tested and works well.
The Adobe Creative Suite 4 Solutions and Mac OS X Snow Leopard FAQ may answer some of your questions. CS3 was not tested and the official Adobe statement is they do not know how well it will work. Many people interpreted this statement as CS3 will not work, but that is not an accurate recap of what was said. The timing of Snow Leopard and the release schedule of CS4 was such that Adobe could only test the current version.
The following position from Info World was posted from someone who had tested CS3, and the results are very good. In fact, they claim CS3 is better than CS4.
Flash Player
The initial release of Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) includes an earlier version of Adobe Flash Player than what is available from Adobe.com. We recommend all users update to the latest, most secure version of Flash Player (10.0.32.18) -- which supports Snow Leopard and is available for download from:
