Changes to Adobe Acrobat Licensing
The Education concurrency licensing option was discontinued in September 2006 with the launch of the Acrobat 8 family of products. Since then Adobe has received feedback from a number of their Education customers (including NC State) that concurrency is an important tool for managing license deployments in educational institutions and that they would like to continue to have the option of purchasing concurrent Acrobat licenses from Adobe. As a result, Adobe announced that they are re-introducing concurrency to meet the needs of their CLP Education customers.
