Microsoft Office for Mac FAQ
With the official release of Microsoft Office for Mac, there have been many questions regarding its availability under the various Microsoft agreements at NC State. This FAQ will address the more commonly asked questions.
General Questions:
- When can I purchase Microsoft Office for Mac?
Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac is now currently available for purchase from the campus book store.
Campus Agreement Questions:
- Is Microsoft Office for Mac covered under a Campus Agrreement?
Yes, NC State now has a site wide license for Microsoft Office for Mac. This means that all faculty and staff can install Office on their university owned machines from the Software Licensing Website.
Student Select Questions:
- What is the Student Select Agreement?
The Student Select Agreement provides NCSU the ability to purchase licenses and media for a limited selection of products and transfer them to students, faculty or staff at greatly reduced prices.
