Q: What is the Microsoft Student Agreement?
A:
The Student Select program provides NCSU the ability to purchase licenses and media for a limited selection of products and transfer them to students, faculty or staff at greatly reduced prices.

Q: What products are available to students in the Student Select Program?
A:
The following Microsoft titles can be purchased by students at Campus Bookstores:

  • Microsoft Office Enterprise Edition 2007
  • Microsoft Office Professional Plus Edition 2007
  • Microsoft Office Standard Edition 2007
  • Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac
  • Microsoft Windows® Vista Upgrade

Q: Can faculty and staff purchase software through the Student Select program?
A:
Yes. NCSU Bookstores can sell Microsoft Student Select licenses for Microsoft Office and Windows Vista to faculty and staff as well. All faculty or staff need to do is fill out the order form and license agreement and provide campus ID as proof of eligibility. See the NCSU Bookstores website for pricing and a downloadable copy of the order form and license agreement all purchasers must fill out.
