Product Information
LIFT for Dreamweaver fundamentally changes the way web designers create usable and accessible content. With LIFT, users can eliminate the lengthy retrofitting process and create usable and accessible content as they go, without having to learn a new software environment.
LIFT simplifies the process of compliance with W3C and Section 508 guidelines and allows users to define corporate or agency-wide guidelines to meet their specific needs. Evaluating web pages in monitor mode automates accessibility and saves precious development time and money. Tables, images, scripts and links are easy to manage with the Fix Wizard, a simple step-by-step tool that guides users through creating accessible content.
LIFT provides you with the means to make decisions about usability and accessibility issues and the ways to implement these principles as easily as possible. With LIFT, you will improve user experience, which ultimately maximizes the effectiveness of site transactions and increases a site's return on investment.
LIFT is now fully integrated within Dreamweaver 8.

There is a site license for this software. It allows unlimited use by all NC State faculty, staff and students on University equipment.

Campus Locations Where You May Use This Software
This software is installed in the Unity Computer Labs that also makes Dreamweaver available. It is integrated as a menu in Dreamweaver.
