Student activities and organizations exist because they play a key role in your success and enjoyment of your experience at NC State. Participation in student organizations gives you an opportunity to meet new people and develop friendships, contribute to your community and make a difference, explore career opportunities and gain experience, learn and practice leadership skills, and have a lot of fun! They help add balance to your life, in addition to helping you to become aware of different cultures and lifestyles, and developing an appreciation for the arts. With over three hundred organizations to choose from at NC State, there is something for almost everyone. In addition, it's easy to start an organization if you see a need or have an interest that is not currently focused on by one of the existing groups!
