Data

Data collected during the intensive field campaigns of the Southern Oxidants Study have been archived permanently through the NARSTO Permanent Data Archive at NASA Langley Atmospheric Science Data Center. The NARSTO Archive can be accessed at the web site of the NARSTO Quality Systems Science Center:

The following gives additional information about accessing specific SOS data, but the main portal of entry for archived SOS data is the NARSTO QSSC web site above.

Seasonal PM2.5 composition data collected as part of an SOS study in rural South Carolina in 2001-02 can be accessed at:

Data collected in Houston as part of the TexAQS 2000 study can be accessed at:
http://eosweb.larc.nasa.gov/PRODOCS/narsto/table_narsto.html#houston

Data collected in Atlanta during the SOS 1999 Supersite Project can be accessed at:

Data collected during the 1999 Nashville/Middle Tennessee Ozone Study can be accessed at:

The NARSTO QSSC also hosts a public-access FTP site where data collected during the SOS 1995 Nashville Study, including the rural Spatial Ozone Network, can be downloaded (the welcome.text file in the nash95 folder describes the files, originally archived at EPA):

Data and reports from the Texas Air Quality Study 2000 also are archived at the University of Texas at Austin and can be accessed at:

Data such as information about wildfire activity in the TexAQS II study region, and some real-time surface monitoring data from the ongoing Texas Air Quality Study 2005-2006 (TexAQS II) can be accessed at the following University of Texas at Austin web site:
