Staff Senate Goals 2009-2010

• Refine our internal processes and procedures. As part of this, we plan to update the Senate Bylaws and continue to explore ways to enhance communication with our EPA, SPA as well as our County Extension constituents.

• Develop a better understanding of the current and proposed parking and transportation situation on campus and how it impacts the campus community.

• Develop mechanism to access historical files through the Staff Senate homepage.

• Explore Safety on campus specifically in the areas of: - construction, parking, walking, bicycling, personal safety .

• Continue to work with the Staff Senate organizations of all other UNC System institutions through active participation in the UNC Staff Assembly, participation in monthly videoconferences and at an annual retreat.
