“Of the two professors that I feel comfortable being open with, they
haven’t been negative about my sexual orientation. However, it is
obvious that they are uncomfortable relating to [me] and my personal
life in the same way they relate to their straight students and their
personal lives. This makes me feel like an outcast in some ways.”
