CHILD SUPPORT, CUSTODY AND VISITATION

In matters dealing with minor children, it is one of the few areas of domestic law which can be pursued even if a marriage never occurred between the parties. The State holds a very high interest in ensuring that minor children are supported both physically as well as emotionally, despite the deterioration of the relationship between the parents. That duty to support falls on both parents. The law as it relates to children and domestic situations is too complex to give a synopsis here. Please see the websites listed below for more information. Please seek the advice of an attorney when dealing with legal issues of children as it relates to a relationship, marriage, separation or divorce.
