While not mandatory, faculty are strongly encouraged to incorporate this Honor Pledge in all work required for the completion of a course. This pledge serves as a reminder of the student's commitment to do their own work. Furthermore, the use and enforcement of this pledge helps to assure the validity of the faculty member's assessment of that student's achievement in the class.
