RSVP Training is September 16-17 and September 23-24. Advocates are given crisis intervention training and can refer survivors to appropriate resources of support on campus and in the community. Staff can count this training as volunteer service hours. Students who would miss class can receive a letter of excuse from Women's Center Staff. The training can also count as internship hours for WGS and Social Work. All interested in becoming an Advocate are required to complete an application (downloads in Word format), interview with members of the Women's Center staff, and attend training. Applications are due Monday, September 12th.
