Support the NC State Women's Center

The Women's Center continues to provide a high level of programs and services despite minimal resources. In essence we have to fundraise 100% of our programming budget. We have written grants in order to expand our work with sexual assault and relationship violence on campus, but your support is greatly needed to supplement the limited funds the Women's Center currently receives. Please consider supporting our work in one or more of the following ways:

We invite you to become a Friend of the Women's Center and join others who contribute directly to our programs and services, ensuring such resources will be around when needed until the day we have a community that is safe, equitable, and supportive for all. Recycling

We accept tax-deductible gifts such as books by and about women for our lending library and have the following items currently on our wish list:

  • Subscriptions to empowering women's magazines.
  • New or used books (contact us for specific title suggestions).
  • Plain t-shirts for the Clothesline Project in the following colors: pink, blue, yellow, white, purple.
  • Toner cartridges for our printer - HP 4650dn.
  • Post-It Easel Wall Pads.
  • In-kind donations (such as printing services)

 

The Women's Center collects old cell phones, ink jet cartridges, iPods, and digital camera (4+ MP). Don't throw them away - bring them to us! We work with a company that buys the items back working or not. Although a minimal amount, it helps support our programming.
