Fall 2007 Schedule of Meetings

Our meetings begin with networking at 7:00pm. Come dressed business casual to eat and chat with our guest speaker and fellow accounting students. Networking is located on the 3rd floor of Nelson Hall in the Accounting Suite. Locations have changed for our September meeting. Please see the revised information below.

Networking concludes around 7:30 and we move to Nelson 2405 for announcements and a presentation from our guest speaker. This is a great way to learn more about the accounting profession and the opportunities we have as accountants.

Nelson Hall is located on the corner of Hillsborough Street and Dan Allen. You can park for free in the Dan Allen Parking Deck after 5:00pm.

Joint meeting with Beta Alpha Psi. MAC alumni will be speaking about their careers

in accounting. We expect a large crowd so meeting locations have changed...

Networking will be held on the second floor of Nelson in the Nelson Commons.

The Discussion Panel will begin at 7:30 in Withers Auditorium room 232-A.

Tuesday, November 27

Richard de Butts from Jewell, de Butts and Roberts will be speaking about the opportunities and benefits of working in a small accounting firm. We hope this meeting will give our members a unique perspective on the diversity of opportunities within the accounting field.

Networking begins at 7:00 in Nelson on the 3rd floor in the Accounting Suite. At 7:30, we will move to Nelson 2405 for the remainder of the meeting.
