One full-time, 12 month position with responsibility to assist in all areas of Counseling Center functioning including:
a) Individual and group counseling of NC State students/clients (personal, academic, and vocational assessment and counseling); psychological assessment; developmental and crisis counseling; couples counseling; evaluation of students for withdrawal from the University.
b) Outreach programming
c) Consultation with faculty and staff
d) Evaluations and recommendations regarding students with academic and conduct problems
e) General administrative responsibilities.
This position will have responsibilities in the areas of outreach programming, program evaluation, and may involve after hours “on call” and evening office hours. Experience in alcohol/substance abuse counseling is desirable.

Master’s degree required and a doctorate preferred in psychology, counseling, or a related field. Experience in a university counseling center is desirable. Appropriate licensure/eligibility for licensure in North Carolina is required. Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
