1. periodically
review this charge and forward any suggestions for amendment to the Vice Chancellor
for review;
2. serve as a
source of communication to and from the units and programs within the Division
on matters relating to distance education and technology;
3. serve as a
source of collaboration among the units and programs within the Division on
matters relating to distance education and technology;
4. promote partnerships
with distance education and technology units within the university;
5. promote partnerships
with area colleges and universities and the local community on matters pertaining
to distance education and technology;
6. meet on a
regular basis (no less than once per semester), with the frequency to be determined
by the Group;
7. receive administrative
support through the Office of the Vice Chancellor, primarily through the Distance
Education Coordinator;
8. provide recommendations
to the Vice Chancellor on matters relating to distance education and technology;
9. provide recommendations
to the Vice Chancellor regarding Group membership;
10. provide an
annual report to the Vice Chancellor regarding the Group's activities.
