Educational & Technology Fee (ETF)
- Leslie
provided an overview of the history and purpose of the ETF, and described DETAG's role in allocating our new permanent base allocation of $50,000.
- Homework for DETAG members is to review the ETF guidelines and proposals, and complete the worksheet for each proposal.
- At the November 1 meeting, each proposal will be discussed in detail, and DETAG members will submit a vote on whether the proposal meets the ETF criteria and provide a priority ranking for those proposals.
- This vote and priority ranking will then be the primary consideration when Leslie and Dr. Zapata make a recommendation to Dr. Stafford on how to allocate the $50,000. Other considerations will include other budget information and other funding opportunities (like LITRE and IDEA grants).
3.
Other Updates
- Technology planning is still in the works but not being rolled out as quickly as hoped. Leslie and Eddie will keep the group posted.
- Groupwise 7 has been rolled out. There are some differences from 6.5. Jason Petters has already shared with ETSS some concerns about changed functionality.
