Larry
Brown, Director of Aquatics in Physical Education, was a nominee
for the Gertrude Cox for Innovative Excellence in Teaching and
Learning with Technology. This award has been created to honor
the creative pedagogy of NC State's faculty and their work in
integrating new technologies into effective teaching strategies.
Larry was nominated for his work in using video in his Scuba
Diving course. |

to Peggy Domingue |

Peggy
Domingue, a member of the Physical Education faculty, was recently
awarded a DELTA
IDEA Grant. Peggy teaches a number of distance education
courses in aerobics, and received funding to provide fitness
kits (necessary aerobics equipment) for the distance learners. |

| Recently,
the Division's LANTechs and Webmasters - representing more than 40
departments and programs in the Division - held their first meeting
as a group. This Division Technology Meeting was held on March 3 and
provided a forum for those staff members who serve their respective
