Effective immediately, All Campus Cards (student ID cards) are now available to those students taking only distance education courses (and not taking any on-campus courses). In the past, these students were required to appear on campus in person to receive an ID card. They may now make the request online. Once enrollment information is verified, the ID card will be mailed to the student at no cost.
The card will be like other university ID cards, with the exception of the photo of the student. In its place will be the phrase "Photo ID Required" which will allow the student to use the ID card in conjunction with a photo ID.
Instructions
- Students should go to the All Campus Card website and select the "Online Account Access" link in the upper left.
- This link will take the student to main All Campus Card Account site. The student should look in the upper right corner and select the "Sign Me Up" link to create an login account.
Please note: When the account is created, the student is sent a password via the student's Unity email account. The student will need to access their Unity email account to retrieve the password. See the online Instructions on Unity email accounts as needed.
- Once the student has created the login account, and has successfully logged in, the "Personalize" section on the right side of the page will then contain a link for "Distance Education ID Card."
- This link will lead to a page where the student simply clicks on the "Submit" button, which then initializes the request.
- Behind the scenes, the All Campus Card office will receive the request and verify that the student is taking only distance education courses (section 6xx), and that a card has not been issued previously to that student. From there, the ID will be generated and mailed to the student's Correspondence Address at no cost.
- Students encountering any difficulty should send an email requesting help to Cindy_Carroll@ncsu.edu.
