Access to Care

Student Health Services sees most patients by appointment. Those too ill or injured to wait for an appointment may visit the Work-In Clinic. The following chart illustrates how to access care at Student Health.

Work-In Clinic Illness or injury when diagnosis and treatment is needed before the next available appointment, but waiting to be seen will not threaten your health.
*Patients seen in order of severity, so there may be a wait.
Report to the Appointment Desk and request a visit to the Work-In Clinic.

Nurse Clinic
Fall & Spring
4:30-9:00 pm

Illness or injury-- such as a fresh ankle sprain, symptoms of a bladder infection, or vomiting-- that needs attention today and it is after 4:30 pm.*X-rays and most lab/blood work not available. Pharmacy closed but starter doses of some medications available and over-the-counter medications available. Report to Medical Records, first floor
Saturday Clinic
Fall & Spring
Illness or injury that cannot wait for weekday hours.*Limited personnel available so there may be a wait. (Arrival at 8:30 am may lessen wait.) Lab and X-ray available. Pharmacy closed but starter doses of some medications available and over-the-counter medications available. Report to Medical Records, first floor.

After Hours
Fall & Spring

If you need care and Student Health is closed. For telephone advice
call (888) 267-3675 and follow instructions, or visit an urgent care or emergency room of your choice.
