Persons whose credentials have been accepted by the Faculty Senate for inclusion in any School / College, or the General Constituency of the Faculty are eligible to serve as Faculty Board Members. We actively recruit faculty based on recommendations from Student Board Members. In addition, faculty may express an interest on the yearly committee service form, or call the Office of Student Conduct at 515-2963.
Faculty are invited to an information / orientation session, and if still interested after receiving the information, are asked to attend training prior to sitting as a Board Member. Faculty enrollment has been handled in a "rolling enrollment" fashion and faculty need not express interest only in the Spring.
The official charge from the Office of the Provost may be found here.
