Process: The Division of Student Affairs is engaged in the process of developing division wide objectives. The following is a description of the process and the most recent DRAFT of the objectives. The DRAFT is not a complete document but rather a work in progress.

Development Process:

1. First Draft: SAAT will create a first draft using NCSU goals, LITRE goals, SA Unit Objectives, DR. Stafford's goals, brainstorming exercises (SAAT and Small Staff), GER objectives and other University's SA division's mission, values and objectives. The Student Affairs Assessment list (department reps) will also have an opportunity to provide feedback via e-mail. A sub group of the SAAT team is meeting regularly to develop the first draft of the division objectives. The SAAT team will approve this draft prior to moving to the second phase of the development process.

2. Second Draft: Send to Small Staff in advance and have discussion at Small Staff meeting. Small Staff will review and provide feedback on the first draft.

3. Third Draft: Send to Large Staff in advance and have discussion at Large Staff meeting. Have SAAT members attend Large Staff meeting.

4. Final Draft: Dr. Stafford will review and approve the final draft.
