The PEI is a free, five week professional development opportunity that educates practitioners in student affairs and academic support programs on the basics of how to write unit level student learning outcomes based on relevant theory and engage in planning and assessment based on those outcomes.

The Institute was offered in the Fall of 2008. It was assessed using a program evaluation. The results of the program evaluation can be viewed here.
