The Computer Technology Summer Institute (CTSI) is a collaborative effort with the North Carolina State University Department of Information Technology, designed to enhance the technological needs of the ETS participants incorporating a vast array of skills including web page development, audio and graphics creation and editing, and much, much more.

Students are selected based on their individual academic performance, ETS participation, and application. CTSI is a 7 day intensely competitive program that test student's ingenuity, team work and ability to develop projects from start to finish.

The Summer Writing Camp is a weeklong summer initiative created to enhance student writing and reading proficiency, as well as prepare them for the College Board SAT writing requirement.

Students are provided instruction in one-on-one and group settings to improve their basic writing skills such as grammar, spelling, sentence structuring and editing. They are also introduced to and refined in skills that include narrative, persuasive and descriptive writing.

Final project and presentations are also required. Students are selected based on their individual academic performance, ETS participation, and application.
