Upward Bound

Upward Bound offers a unique opportunity for high school graduate participants to enroll in summer school at NC State University and receive up to six college credits prior to fall postsecondary enrollment. Earned college credits are transferred to the students' chosen college or university.

A minimum of sixteen Saturday group meetings are held on the campus of NC State University to provide various educational and cultural activities for students.

These activities are designed to strengthen student skills in Math English/Grammar, the Sciences, Reading, Structured Writing and Standardized test taking (SAT/ACT).
