Who Can Order X-rays?
Student Health providers and outside private healthcare providers can order X-rays; students must bring written orders from outside providers to be X-rayed.

X-ray Report
All X-rays are sent to an outside radiology consultant for reading. The ordering provider will be sent the reading, and patients can obtain results from the ordering provider.

Please note: There are charges for X-rays. Charges vary and include the radiologist reading fee.

Laboratory

What tests available
We have a full-service lab providing in-house testing for these and other tests:

• Complete blood count (CBC)
• Urinalysis
• Rapid strep, mono, flu
• Erythocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)
  

Lab tests not performed at Student Health are sent to Rex Healthcare, Mayo Clinic or North Carolina State Laboratory of Public Health.

Who Can Order Tests?
Student Health Services' providers and private physicians can order tests. The results are given to the ordering provider. Patients must obtain results from the ordering provider.
