Students not diagnosed with ADD / ADHD

If you believe you have ADD/ADHD but have not been diagnosed by a medical provider, you will need to have formal diagnostic testing done first, before seeing one of our providers.

Student Health Services does not do testing to diagnose ADD/ADHD nor do we treat anyone with ADD/ADHD medications that does not have a formal diagnosis of ADD/ADHD prior to coming to Student Health.

We can provide you with a list of providers in the area that do formal testing for ADD/ADHD. You should check with your insurance carrier to make sure testing is covered. Testing can be time consuming and costly, but it is important to have the correct diagnosis before starting any medication.

Once you are diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, please come back to our site for further information on services provided by Student Health Services.
