- The health fee is part of tuition and fees at NC
State and covers routine visits to providers, Health Promotion,
and most Counseling Center visits. Items with a charge are offered
at prices competitive with the community.
- Distance Learning students do not pay a health
fee and are not eligible for services at Student Health or for
the medical insurance plan.
- Students enrolled spring and fall but not summer
may receive health services during summer by paying a health fee.
- Students graduating in May are eligible to receive
summer medical care by paying a health fee.
- Students should have personal health insurance
coverage for all off-campus medical services. A campus-sponsored
health insurance policy is offered at group rates. For more information,
