Gardasil is a vaccine that helps protect against the following diseases caused by Human Papillomavirus (HPV):

• Cervical cancer
• Abnormal and percancerous lesions of the cervix, vagina and vulva
• Genital warts

The vaccine is a series of three (3) injections with the second and third vaccine administered 2 months and 6 months, respectively, after the first dose.
