Activities
Afternoon, evening and weekend programs are built into the five-week schedule to enhance your experience and help you transition into the culture of NC State and Raleigh. Programs during Transfer START are offered from many different places on campus. University Housing, Campus Recreation, Undergraduate Research, the Center for Student Leadership, Ethics, and Public Service (CSLEPS), and many others will offer programs throughout the summer. In addition to the numerous on campus programs Transfer START mentors will work to plan off campus programs that will include live music, museums, and other cultural aspects. With so many options it will be hard to not find a program that interests you.
At the end of the summer session you will be invited to attend the Summer Research Symposium, where your fellow NC State students will be presenting their research projects. This will be a great opportunity to find ways to get involved in research at NC State and meet and interact with faculty that sponsor these projects.
