EIFL :: Eligibility
Student applicants must be in the 11th or 12th grades during the 2012-2013 school year. EIFL participants are promising young people who love to learn and exhibit the ability to explore topics in great depth. Formal identification by an academic guidance counselor is required for admittance to EIFL.
This year, EIFL staff have identified high schools from the areas surrounding NC State to serve as a pilot group. Counselors at the identified high schools have been sent information packets along with the EIFL application.
All applications are due by April 1st. Applications must be complete with all information including appropriate signatures in order for the student to be considered for the program. Applications received after April 1st will be automatically placed on our waiting list.
