Open House, Audition orientations and Auditions
OPEN HOUSE: Wednesday August 15 from 4-6 pm, Thompson Hall
Info session at 6 pm, audition orientation at 7 pm

 

Audition orientations: audition orientations are not mandatory but are a great way to meet theatre staff and students, learn about the show and the characters, pick up tips and tricks, and practice!

THE HEIDI CHRONICLES

Main Characters:
Heidi – Ages teens to 40s. An art historian. Accomplished, well-respected, not particularly happy.
Susan – Ages teens to 40s. Reinvents herself each decade. A flirt, a feminist, a lawyer, a TV executive
Scoop – Ages 20s-40s. Brilliant, funny, caustic, ego-centric, cynical. Highly successful.
Peter – Ages teens to 40s. Witty, romantic, caring, protective.  Becomes a Pediatrician.

 

Supporting Characters (Actors will play more than one role):
Women:
Fran – 30. A foul-mouthed hard core feminist. Wears army fatigues.
Lisa – 30. Bland but nice, optimistic and cheery. Southern. Supportive wife.
April – 35. TV talk show host. Polished, professional, Hollywood elite.
Jill – 40. Supportive, maternal, perfect housewife.
Denise – 24, Young urban professional.  Confident, happy, career woman
Debbie – late 20s – Chic, severe, dresses in all black. Women’s rights activist.
Becky – 17, Struggling with adulthood, searching for role models
Clara 20s, activist
Molly – 30s
Betsy – 30s

Men:
Chris – 18
Waiter – NY trendy
Ray – 30s, A young doctor
Mark – 20s, Easy going, nice guy
Steve – TV studio production assistant
