Daddy’s Dyin’, Who’s Got the Will
by Del Shores

Directed by Allison Bergman

Titmus Theatre

It is summer of 1986 in Lowake, Texas, and the Turnover family is trying to settle Buford Turnover’s affairs before he kicks the bucket. Buford has misplaced his will, and his four children—spinsterish Sara Lee, estranged preacher’s wife Lurlene, beer-swilling Orville, and country singer wannabe Evalita— need to find it. As Buford’s offspring drag out old wrongs, sharp-tongued Mamma Wheelis and Evalita’s hippie boyfriend Harmony try to keep the peace and save the family. Powerful, poignant, hilarious and the too familiar moments that are the true magic of family. May 30, 31, June 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, 12, 14

Black Coffee
by Agatha Christie

Directed by John McIlwee

This little known mystery will surprise and delight Christie fans. Hercule Poirot, Agatha Christie’s most popular detective comes to life in BLACK COFFEE, the only play written by Christie in which Poirot appears. Noted atomic scientist Sir Claud Amory, on the eve of dispatching his formula for a powerful new explosive to the Ministry of Defense, realizes that someone in his family circle has filched the formula from his safe. Sir Claud assembles the suspects in hopes of extracting the truth and Poirot and Captain Hastings arrive at the height of this experiment. Many wonderful twists and turns in true Christie tradition.
