The Undergraduate Tutorial Center provides several types of free assistance to suit the needs of students in many 100- and 200-level courses, as well as all writing and speaking needs across the curriculum as described below:

Tutoring by appointment is offered in two different programs, Weekly Assigned and Sign Up, for many 100- and 200-level Chemistry, Math, and Physics courses depending on the availibility of qualified tutors. Students using the Weekly Assigned Program will participate in weekly tutoring with a tutor assigned to them. Students using the Sign Up Program will be able to make one-on-one tutoring appointments as needed. Students seeking individual tutoring by appointment should request assistance early in the semester. If you have used this program in previous semesters, please complete an online tutoring application to register. If you have not used this program before, attend an orientation session.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is available for selected courses. SI sessions are small group sessions that offer students the opportunity to compare notes, discuss readings, ask questions, and prepare for examinations.

Writing and Speaking Tutorial Services provides one-on-one tutoring. Visitors can get help at all stages of the writing and speaking process, including brainstorming, topic development, thesis construction, organization, drafting, revision, and more.
