Barbara Windom, Director

Barbie has worked for the UTC since 1990 in many different roles, including tutor, SI leader, SI supervisor, graduate assistant, Math Coordinator, Assistant Director, Interim Director, and now Director. She is twice a graduate of NC State (BS, Physics, and MS, Operations Research) and has taught MA 107, MA 141 and PY 211. Barbie and her husband, Troy, have two children, Laura and Trevor.

Marcia Toms, Associate Director

Marcia has been active on NC State's campus since 1996. While working on her BA in English with Teacher's Certification, she worked as a tutor and SI leader at the UTC. She then went on to teach in the public schools, complete her master's degree in English, and become a lecturer for ENG 100 and 101. She returned to the UTC in the summer of 2004 as the Coordinator of Writing and Speaking Tutorial Services.

Megan Early, Assistant Director

Megan received both her BS and MS in Mathematics from NC State. She worked as a tutor and SI leader for a total of four semesters for the UTC before teaching MA 107 and MA 121 as a graduate student. Following graduation, she worked as a math instructor at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh for one year, teaching courses from precalculus to calculus 2. In 2004 she joined the UTC staff as the Coordinator of Supplemental Instruction.

Dana Jablonski, Tutor Coordinator

Dana originally comes from Pennsylvania where she obtained a Bachelors degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. After graduating, she went straight to the University of South Carolina where she received her Masters degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs. At South Carolina, she was actively involved with the Supplemental Instruction program, coached academic skills, and co-taught a First Year Experience course. Dana enjoys shopping, spending time with family and friends and working with students.

Sandra Foley, Administrative Support Specialist

Sandy came to NC State from Ohio in 1983 and was hired as the secretary in what was then called the Learning Assistance Center under Dr. Brenda Allen. Through a number of facility moves and changing staff members, Sandy can still say she enjoys working in the Tutorial Center.

Sandy and her husband Gene have 3 daughters and 8 grandchildren. Their hobbies include reading, fishing, and playing with the grandchildren.

Elizabeth Jereb, Administrative Support Associate

Betsy received her BA in Economics and Psychology at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana in 1983. She also earned a Database Management Certificate at Wake Tech Community College in July, 2002. She began working for the UTC in September, 2004.

Betsy and her husband, Rick, have two children, Cameron and Michelle.
