There are no sign-up appointments available during the summer sessions.
Before you can schedule a Sign-up appointment online you must have a current tutoring application on file with the UTC office. You may call 515-3163 with questions.
If you have not used our one-on-one services before, you must first attend a 20 minute orientation. Please call 515-3163 to set up an orientation.
Due to high demand, students are limited to one appointment per day per subject. If we find that you have made multiple appointments for the same subject on the same day we will cancel your second appointment and send you an email letting you know we did this.
Please be sure to carefully read the Sign-up tutoring policies and procedures below.
- Students may choose either 30 minute or 1 hour appointments.
- Students are expected to arrive on time, to be prepared for the session, to participate actively, and to stay for the entire prearranged session time .
- Students who need to cancel an appointment must do so online by midnight the day before the appointment to avoid a penalty. Cancellations after midnight must be made through the UTC office by calling 515-3163. Any cancellation received in the office 2 hours before the appointment will be considered a late cancellation. Cancellations received within 2 hours of the appointment will be considered a no show.
- After two "no shows" students will lose the privilege of making appointments for the rest of the semester . Two late cancellations is equivalent to one no show.
- Our scheduling software should send e-mail reminders to students when the appointment is made and the day before the appointment. If you do not receive an e-mail, however, it is still your responsibility to attend the session.
- Directions for making appointments are posted in .pdf format and demonstrated in a flash video.
