Before you can schedule a Sign-up appointment online you must have a current tutoring application on file with the UTC office. You may call 515-3163 with questions.
Due to high demand, students are limited to one hour of help per day per subject. If we find that you have made more than one hour of appointments for the same subject on the same day we will cancel your excess appointments and send you an email letting you know we did this.
Please be sure to carefully read the Sign-up tutoring policies and procedures below.
- Students may choose either 30 minute or 1 hour appointments. (Please note that the default appointment in Tutortrac is 0.5 hour. You will need to manually change this for an hour appointment).
- Students are expected to arrive on time, to be prepared for the session, to participate actively, and to stay for the entire prearranged session time .
- Students who need to cancel an appointment must do so online by midnight the day before the appointment to avoid a penalty. Cancellations after midnight are appreciated and may be made through the UTC office by calling 515-3163. Cancellations after midnight will be considered a no show.
- After two "no shows" students will lose the privilege of making appointments for the rest of the semester .
- Our scheduling software should send e-mail reminders to students when the appointment is made and the day before the appointment. If you do not receive an e-mail, however, it is still your responsibility to attend the session.
- Directions for making appointments are posted in .pdf format and demonstrated in a flash video.
