ABOUT DUAP

Who We Are

The Division of Undergraduate Academic Programs (DUAP) is an arm of Academic Affairs and reports directly to the Provost of NC State University. DUAP's staff includes a dean, associate dean, assistant dean, an academic coordinator and various administrative specialists. DUAP also includes the staff of 11 affiliated units, each one dedicated to a specific student support program.

DUAP staff reflects its consultative focus on helping colleges create and assess effective curriculum programs while meeting other important academic goals. DUAP's roster and its affiliated unit leaders include experts in education, academic development, technology, psychology, communications, administration and a variety of other fields crucial to the design of successful academic programs. These professionals remain active in their fields beyond the University by frequently attending and presenting at conferences and by continuing to augment their academic credentials with advanced degrees and professional certifications. In short, they embody the principles they seek to impart to students by embracing academic excellence, a global perspective, service learning, inquiry-guided discovery and more.
