Major/Program Footnotes:
1 BIO 105/106, PB 200, and a 4-hour PB course with a lab may be approved by the Plant Biology Undergraduate Coordinator as substitutes for BIO 181, BIO 183, and PB 250.

2 Credit is not allowed for more than one of MA 121, MA 131, and MA 141.

3 Credit is not allowed for both ST 101 and ST 311.  Students interested in research are strongly encouraged to take both ST 311 and ST 511 (Experimental Statistics for Biological Sciences I).

4 A minimum of four Plant Biology elective courses are required and must total 12 credit hours. At least two of these courses must be at the 300-level or higher and must total 6 credit hours. Select from the following list of courses: PB 213, PB 215, PB 220, PB 360, PB 365 (students are encouraged to take PB 360 and PB 365 concurrently), PB 400, PB 403, PB 405, PB 413, PB 414, PB 421, PB 422, PB 445, PB/BIT 481, PB 500-level, and PB 600-level. A minimum GPA of 2.00 is required across all PB coursework.

5 At least one course PB Elective course must have a laboratory or be a laboratory or field-based course. Courses that meet this requirement are PB 220, PB 365, PB 400, PB 403/503, PB 405, PB 413, PB 422, PB 445/545, PB/BIT 481, and PB 565.
