  2. These courses must be selected from the university- approved GER lists. At least one of the courses chosen to satisfy the GER Humanities and Social Sciences requirement must focus on a non- English speaking culture. Science, Technology, and Society electives are to be chosen from the GER Humanities and Social Sciences perspective list. Social Science courses must be selected from two different areas.
  3. PY 201 and PY 202 can be taken in the place of PY 205 and PY 208.
  4. EC/ARE 201 can be taken in the place of EC 205.
  5. Two PE credits must include at least one Fitness and Wellness course.
  6. ENG 331 or ENG 333 can be taken in place of ENG 332.
  7. Students meet with their advisor to select Advised Electives. At least two major paper courses must be chosen from the following: MA 402, 427, 428, 432, 433, 435, 437, 491, 494, 544, 573, 574, BMA 573, 574. Students must demonstrate foreign language proficiency at the FL 102 level.
  8. MA 501 can be taken in place of MA 401.
  9. Grades of D are not accepted in ENG 101 and any required mathematics course numbered below 400. At most one D grade is permitted in required or elective mathematics courses. Only, one grade lower than a C- is allowed among the following; CH 101, CH 102, Introduction to Programming, the two-semester Introduction to Physics courses, and ST 371/372 (or ST 421/422).
  10. CSC 114 or CSC 116 can be taken in place of MA 116.
  11. MA 512 can be taken in place of MA 426.
  12. Students are required to take the two courses ST 371 and ST 372, or the two courses ST 421 and ST 422.
