Consultations are required if the following occurs: If course(s) outside of your College are being added to your curriculum as a Major/College requirement or elective, a consult from the Associate Dean of the appropriate College is required, particularly when a significant increase in course enrollment may result. The appropriate consult must be attached to the curriculum action before the action is submitted to UCCC for approval. See consultation guidelines at If course(s) outside of your College are being dropped from your curriculum please send notification to the Associate Dean of the appropriate College and indicate that such notification has been sent by attaching a copy of the email. Submitting the GEP Curriculum Action Departments should present the completed action and all attachments to the College Dean’s office liaison for approval at the College level. The College liaison will forward one hard copy of the completed signed curriculum action form with attachments for each revised curriculum/program to the Office of Undergraduate Courses and Curricula, Campus Box 7105, Flex Lab Building, Module 4. In addition, each 8-semester display (Format A) must also be submitted electronically in Word format to Catherine_Freeman@ncsu.edu.
