APPENDIX N
All colleges and schools as well as several
divisions within the institution have designated a faculty
or staff member to serve as African-American Coordinator. The duties of
each of the coordinators differ according
to the needs of the colleges and their students. AllAfrican-American Coordinators
share, however, the responsibility of promoting, coordinating, and evaluating
activities for African-American students' advancement to graduation at NC State.
The coordinators work cooperatively with
faculty, academic advisers, and other University personnel to promote African-American
student success.
