The “NCSU Libraries” offers a wide range of information resources and services
to assist faculty and students in their academic and research programs.
The library staff is eager to work with classroom instructors to provide
students with a library experience that will enhance their classroom instruction.
Undergraduates especially should be encouraged to use the Library.
Often they need help in learning how to use its vast resources in varying
formats, so it is important that faculty members and graduate students
understand library services and policies to make the Library a more effective
educational instrument for undergraduate students.
Some of the Library services which are particularly relevant to the
academic programs are mentioned here.

HOURS OF OPERATION
The NCSU Library System consists of the main D.H. Hill Library, four
branches, and two affiliated libraries and reading rooms. The NCSU
Libraries is one of the few libraries in the nation that offers 24-hour
building hours with reference and circulation service.
D.H. Hill Library hours for fall and spring semesters:
Sun-Fri: 9 a.m. Sun.
to 10 p.m. Fri. (24-hr. service)
Sat:
9 .a.m. to 10 p.m.
Branch libraries hours:
Mon-Thur: 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Fri: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sat: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sun: 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
For summer and intersession hours, call the library for changes to this
schedule at 515-7426.
