The Learning Resources Library serves primarily faculty, staff and students in the College of Education and Psychology.  Lending policies permit the use of most materials and equipment by the larger campus community.  The collection includes over 400 journals, 12,000 books including all North Carolina state-adopted textbooks In Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies as well as selected textbooks in Foreign Language and Vocational Education.  It also houses a large collection of standardized tests and extensive audiovisual and multimedia resources.

The African American Cultural Center Reading Room offers a browsing collection reflecting  the scope of African American culture and experience.  Its materials may be checked out; call the reading room for its hours of operation.
