University Honors Program

Honors Program

Special resources for academic achievers.

The University Honors Program (UHP) is a highly selective application-based program for students who want to become knowledge-makers rather than simply knowledge consumers. UHP students pursue independent research, scholarship and other creative activities under the direction of on- and off-campus experts. They participate in seminars that promote creativity and discovery-based learning across a variety of disciplines and typically live in the Honors Village, where they are offered mentors, special resources, study facilities, advisory services, information on internships, scholarships and research opportunities plus social and cultural activities.

The UHP enriches the undergraduate experience and prepares students for graduate or professional school and beyond.
