NC State University's Undergraduate Academic Advising Center

Academic Advising Services provides walk-in advising to degree-seeking students exploring majors, advising support to faculty and staff across campus, and current information on General Education, declaring Majors & Minors, and Academic Policies. AAS provides accurate, sound, and timely advising, helps students learn to effectively navigate and use the processes and resources at NC State, guides students in their exploration of majors and careers, and assists students with their transition to a new major.

Academic Advising Services (AAS) will offer walk-in advising services to the following groups: Current or former NC State undergraduate degree students - the focus of advising services will be major exploration and transition to a new major.

Prospective external transfer students - the focus of advising services will be NC State major exploration and degree program requirements review.

Non-degree students (may include former NC State undergraduate degree students such as 32UDSR) - general advising assistance.

Students will also be able to work with AAS walk-in advisers on advising questions through e-mail (virtual advising ) and call-in.

The priority group for AAS services is current or former NC State undergraduate degree students in transition.
