Subject:	Resolution 8-96/97 On the First Year Course Repeat Policy

The Faculty Senate has called for the extension of the current First Year Course Repeat Policy to Spring 2001. It is now slated to cease to be in effect with the fall of 1998.

I would like to reserve action on this resolution until fall 1997, permitting time for further consideration of the matter.
