Guidelines for Intra Campus Transfers
- An overall 2.4 GPA makes a student eligible to be considered for
acceptance into the College of Textiles if they have completed MA 131 or
141 and CH 101 and 102. If they have the 2.4 GPA but have not
taken the MA or CH, they can meet with the Director of Advising and
Admissions to inquire about possibly transferring without both of these
courses.
- Any student with less than a 2.4 GPA but who has taken the MA 131 or
141 and the CH 101 and 102 should request a meeting with the Director of
Advising and Admissions to determine their acceptance into the College
of Textiles. It is advisable that they have taken T 101 to be more
certain of their interest in the College of Textiles. Students
with less than a 2.4 GPA may be accepted in part based on their
overall courses taken that will transfer into a textile degree.
- Any student with less than a 2.4 GPA who has not taken the MA or CH
courses is not eligible to transfer into the College of Textiles.
It is advised that such student take T 101 in addition to the MA and CH
in order to be considered for acceptance.
Prior
to acceptance, the transcripts of Students with over 60 hours will be
evaluated carefully to determine the number of hours that will actually
transfer into the textile degree.
