Thermodynamic
Stabilization of Nanocrystalline Grains in Pd with 20at% Zr |
Recent
published research has shown that the nanocrystallinity of ball-milled
palladium can be preserved at high temperatures with the addition of
zirconium. A sample of 20at% Zr with a balance of Pd was tested with
x-ray diffraction (XRD) and the data collected supported the conclusions of the
previous research. SEM and micro hardness was also used to gather data
not published in the previous research.
