Practicum
About the
Program: The Summer Practicum offers a
three-week, hands-on summer learning experience for upper level undergraduate
students. The practicum offers students
excellent opportunities to expand their knowledge of Civil Engineering practice
and research.
Program
Activities: The summer program provides a series
of seminars, laboratories, and field trips related to civil, construction and
environmental engineering. Practicum topics vary depending on the interests of
the students and the availability of faculty.
Typical topics may include:
Construction Engineering and Management, Environmental Systems,
Geotechnical Engineering, Structures and Bridges, Transportation, and Water
Resources.
