ACC Meeting of the Minds Conference – March 30-April 1, 2012 at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA

The 7^th Annual ACC Meeting of the Minds Undergraduate Research Conference will be held at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA on March 30 – April 1, 2012.  This conference, funded in-part by revenue from athletic events, focuses on undergraduate research and scholarship at the 12 ACC member schools and represents the power and synergy that can exist between athletics and academics. Undergraduate students and their faculty mentors from all disciplines are encouraged to join us in Blacksburg, VA for this exciting event.  NC State can select a total of eight students to present their research and to represent the University at this event.  All expenses of the event will be covered by the ACCIAC and NC State University.

Students that are interested in applying to present at this event will need to submit an application and faculty recommendation to Judy Day at judy_day@ncsu.edu by Monday, January 30, 2012.   Research from all disciplines can be presented as a performance, poster, or oral presentation.  Students will be notified by February 8 if they are selected to present.  Selection preference will be given to Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors.
